A heart friendly healthy diet is one that is low in fats, cholesterol and salt. A healthy and well-balanced diet is one that is rich in vegetables, fruits, grains and fiber. And it is not just something that you should eat only on special days.

A healthy and well-balanced diet should be the routine day in and day out if you aim to keep your heart healthy. You can even indulge occasionally to a burger and fries or a slice of pizza. But try to do it in moderation.
