A team of researchers has discovered that this process can be prevented by the topical application of PC-KUS, a compound that can convert hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen. In a test group of 2,411 patients, , which is characterized by white patches on the skin as a result of pigment loss. The results also show that display how oxidative stress also plays a role in a variety of diseases ranging from cancer to heart disease and not only graying hair.
